Bio:

Tyler Jazz is currently a solo artist with a primary musical focus on Heavy Metal and Classical Guitar. Currently he works as an Audio Engineer for the Hershey Entertainment company in the Harrisburg Metropolitan area. Tyler has been playing guitar and bass guitar for over 10 years and is classically trained in guitar and music.Tyler Jazz has obtained two Associates Degree's in Business and Music Industry and a Bachelors in the Arts as a Music Composition major. Later in 2013 Tyler was also awarded a certificate of completion through Berklee's College of Music Songwriting program.Tyler Jazz plays a variety instruments including, guitar, piano, bass guitar, viola, cello, violin, stand up bass, and vocals. His primary instrument is guitar and piano. Electric guitar and classical guitar are his preferences.He has had 12 years of vocal training and sings while performing along with a specialty in guttural vocals. He is the lead guitarist for local Blackened Metal band Gryla., who are currently in the works of completing a full album, Tyler is also apart of the new Classical Opera group the Tyler Jazz& Krisztina Szabo Duet who also performs for a variety of venues from fine dinning establishments to hospice centers and senior centers. Tyler Jazz currently performs live and works with bands in studios as a musician and engineer. During his live performances he brings the soothing sounds of classical guitar expressing emotions of romance, joyfulness, melancholy, and relaxation. When he is performing in his band playing heavy metal he is sure to bring the energy and raw aggression to the stage through passionate performances. Tyler Jazz, looking to bring a new sound to Heavy Metal and Classical!

Music Instruction:

During his time as a student he started teaching children and adults guitar and general music. Tyler has since taken his teaching all across Central Pa as a traveling guitar teacher and music instructor. In May of 2016 Tyler was awarded his piano proficiency and has since been teaching piano and keyboard music and theory. The students he teaches range from beginners to advanced players from classical guitar, acoustic guitar to electric guitar. Teaching all ages Tyler has found the perfect approach to making sure all his students are prepared for a life long journey in making music.
